We for You | Daily Reflection | by Maryam ❤️

Salam Alaikum dear Sisters 🌸
I hope you are all doing well today.

A warm welcome to our new sister joining the group today. ❤️
May Allah SWT make this space a source of healing, support, beneficial knowledge, and sincere sisterhood for all of us. 🤍

Very often in my holistic practice, I notice psychosomatic symptoms many sisters carry within their bodies.

Of course, not every symptom is psychosomatic, and physical health conditions should never be ignored. The body can suffer from genuine medical illnesses, hormonal imbalances, deficiencies, inflammation, or chronic conditions that require proper medical care and investigation.

However, physical health can also be deeply connected to our psychological and emotional state. Long-term stress, unresolved trauma, chronic anxiety, grief, emotional suppression, nervous system dysregulation, fear, and prolonged survival mode can gradually affect the body and overall wellbeing.

Sometimes, after medical causes are ruled out, or when symptoms intensify during periods of stress, heartbreak, betrayal, emotional exhaustion, or inner conflict, we begin to see the deep connection between the body, emotions, trauma, and the nervous system.

To reflect deeper, ask yourself:

❓ Do my symptoms become worse during emotional stress or conflict?
❓ Did my pain begin after grief, heartbreak, betrayal, burnout, or trauma?
❓ Do I constantly suppress emotions to appear “strong”?
❓ Do I feel emotionally unsafe, overwhelmed, unsupported, or exhausted most of the time?
❓ Have medical tests repeatedly shown “nothing serious” while my body still struggles?
❓ Do I ignore my body’s signals and continue surviving instead of resting?
❓ When was the last time I truly felt calm, emotionally safe, heard, and at peace?

Below, I will write about body parts that often carry psychosomatic tension and emotional overload. Save this message and whenever you experience pain, heaviness, tension, or discomfort in a certain area of the body, gently reflect on what emotional burden you may also be carrying within yourself.

The body often expresses what the heart and mind have been silently carrying for too long.

Psychosomatic pain is not “imaginary.” It is a real response of the body and nervous system to prolonged emotional overload.

And in Islam, we are reminded that Allah SWT did not create us to live disconnected from our hearts. The soul needs truth, mercy, balance, rest, emotional safety, sincerity, and inner peace.

Healing is not only physical, it is spiritual, emotional, and psychological too.

Dear sisters, your pain is not body weakness. Your body may simply be carrying what your heart has been unable to express for far too long.

Wishing everyone ease, healing, emotional safety, and peace within both body and soul. May Allah SWT soften what feels heavy, heal what is hidden, and grant every sister strength, comfort, and inner tranquility.🤲🏻
