We for You | Daily Reflection | *by Maryam* ❤️
Salam Alaikum dear Sisters,
Hope you all are feeling better and better InshaAllah. 🌸
A warm welcome to our new sisters in the group. ❤️
Peace be upon you - not just as a greeting, but as a spiritual path, a practice, and a gift from Allah SWT.
Islam is built on Salam -but not a passive peace.
It is a peace rooted in dignity, boundaries, self-respect, and trust in Allah SWT.
True Islamic peace is not weakness -it is strength.
We are all striving for peace, but have you ever met someone who lives in complete, unshakable peace all the time?
I haven’t. And the truth is we were not created for ultimate peace in this dunya.
In this life, peace comes in moments, waves, and seasons, not permanence.
Psychologically and spiritually, we are meant to experience movement, challenge, and growth.
But today is about how to stay CALM and have more peace in heart.
It is incredible hard but true: anything we respond to with calmness loses its power over us.
💔*Fear* controls us only while we run from it.
💔*Emotional pain* controls us only while we resist it.
💔*People manipulate us* only while we react to their manipulation.
But the moment we become aware, their influence fades.
When we stop holding onto everything so tightly, loss stops frightening us.
Life strikes hardest where there is the most inner tension.
Relax, release, and many blows will simply pass by.
I know you’ll say, ‘It’s easy to say but difficult to do’.
One simple exercise for you all:
Name the worst-case scenario and fear loses its grip.
But sisters, do not confuse peace or calmness with numbness.
Peace and being calm is not pretending. It is not forcing silence or wearing a mask.
True peace means you allow yourself to feel, but you don’t let emotions control your actions.
Sometimes the calmest action is to walk away.
Sometimes the calmest word is “no.”
Peace does not mean pleasing everyone. It means refusing to react according to their expectations. When we stay calm during conflict, we see clearly where someone else’s emotions end and where our boundaries begin.
When someone tries to provoke you and you do not play their game -they lose power.
If something repeatedly disturbs you, it is a sign that something within you needs awareness, healing, or stronger boundaries.
So, dear sisters, I wish you a week filled with sakinah, clarity, and the courage to protect your heart. May Allah SWT bless you with tranquility, with strong boundaries, and with a peaceful, confident soul.🤲🏻
Salam Alaikum ❤️
