We for You | Daily Reflection | *by Maryam* ❤️

Salam Alaikum dear Brothers and Sisters, I hope you are doing well.
A warm welcome to the new member of our group. 🤍

Today I want to return to the topic of MONEY, from a psychological, emotional and Islamic perspective.

I often hear sisters saying: “My husband doesn’t give, he calculates everything, he doesn’t buy.”
And I also hear many brothers saying: “Women today only demand, and the demands never end.”

Very often, this is not really about money.

🧠*From a psychological perspective:* money represents security, care, value, and trust.

• For many women, money given by a husband is not about luxury-it is about feeling safe, cared for, and emotionally supported. When she feels emotionally unseen or unappreciated, her need often comes out as requests for material things.

• For many men, constant requests feel like pressure, criticism, or never being “enough.” When a man feels unappreciated or only valued for what he provides, he may become defensive, tight, or emotionally distant.

So the conflict grows:

She asks more → he withdraws more
He gives less → she feels less valued

⚡️ From an emotional / energy side

A woman’s energy opens through feeling secure and cherished. When a woman feels unsafe, she pushes.

A man’s energy opens through feeling respected and trusted.
When a man feels pressured, he closes.

☪️ Islam does not place marriage on competition or control.
Provision (nafaqah) is a responsibility, but mercy, kindness, and communication are the foundation.

Practical solutions for couples:

For husbands:

🤝 Give according to your ability, but give with generosity of heart, not resentment.
🤝*Small acts done willingly* mean more than large amounts given coldly.
🧠Understand that emotional neglect often shows up as material requests.

For wives:

😌*Express needs calmly*, without comparison or accusation.
🙏🏻*Appreciate* what your husband already does gratitude softens hearts.
🧠*Understand that constant pressure closes a man* emotionally and financially.

For both:

💶*Talk about money when you are calm*, not during conflict.
➗*Separate needs from wants*.
🧠*Remember: you are partners, not opponents.*

When emotional connection is restored, money issues often soften naturally.

And remember, dear brothers and sisters, you can’t fake your energy, or pretend everything is fine -it always reveals your true state.

May Allah SWT place barakah in your homes, soften your hearts toward one another, and grant you wisdom, balance, and peace. 🤍
