We for You | Daily Reflection | *by Maryam* ❤️

Salam Alaikum dear Brothers and Sisters, I hope you are all well.

Warm welcome new members who recently joined this group.

As I mentioned in the other group, I rarely share content created by others, but when I come across meaningful content that invites us to reflect from different perspectives, I feel it is important to share with you all.

Yesterday the world was celebrating Valentine’s Day. As Muslims, we do not limit love and care to one specific day. For us, love, mercy, and commitment in relationships are reminders of our faith and responsibility every single day.
A woman’s wellbeing her physical, emotional, and psychological health, is deeply connected to the quality of her relationships: especially with her spouse, then children, parents, friends, and wider society. The same applies to men.

Today, I would like to share insights from a long-term research study (which is still ongoing) that particularly examined men and relationships. It clearly shows how deeply relationship quality affects wellbeing and happiness. In fact, being in a harmful relationship can be more damaging than being divorced. This is something important to reflect on.
If you are a couple following this group, I encourage you to watch the video https://youtu.be/8KkKuTCFvzI?si=BSJR0Tl44JJ4o5dr and discuss together:

❓How is your relationship influencing your wellbeing?
❓How can you strengthen it for the benefit of both spouses?

And if you are currently single, this is also a time for reflection, to consider what healthy relationships mean to you, what values you want to build your future upon, and how you can strengthen your relationship with yourself and with Allah SWT first.

Healthy relationships are not only about emotions, they are about long term stability, health, and inner peace.

Soon, InshaAllah, I will share something interesting. I am still collecting your questions, if you have any, please feel free to send them to me privately.
Let’s grow together.

I wish you all a peaceful Sunday.

May Allah SWT put barakah in your relationships.🤲🏻
