As I mentioned last time, I’ll be sharing your questions and my answers.
This question is paraphrased:
When one person in a marriage focuses on self-development, learning about emotions, communication, and personal growth, but the other does not, will they divorce or not in the future?
********************************
This question reminds me of two people who started climbing the same mountain. At some point, one decides to sit down and rest while the other keeps climbing. Either the one who sits will eventually catch up, the one who keeps going will stop and wait, or the one who continues will move on and meet other fellow travelers.
In short- growth differences don’t automatically mean divorce, but they do test communication, shared values, and the willingness to grow together.
I hope I answered your question. You’re always welcome to share more thoughts or ask further questions. Jazakalah khair.
