Children’s attention span and focus develop gradually as they grow, influenced by their age, environment, and activities.
It’s very individual but it’s good to know general guide:

✅*0-6 months* – Babies focus on faces and high-contrast objects for a few seconds.

✅*6-12 months* – They can track moving objects and hold attention for about 1-2 minutes.

✅*1-2 years* – Toddlers explore objects but have short attention spans (2-3 minutes per activity).

✅*3-4 years* – Preschoolers begin focusing on a task for 5-10 minutes, especially with engaging activities like puzzles or coloring.

✅*5-7 years* – Their focus improves, with the ability to stay on one task for 15-20 minutes.

✅*8-10 years* – Kids can maintain attention for 20-30 minutes and follow instructions better.

✅*10+ years* – With practice, children can concentrate for 30-45 minutes on structured activities like reading, writing, or creative tasks.

You can improve their focus, like playing the 2-minute object focus game, limit screen time to help them develop patience, use mindful activities like puzzles, drawing, and storytelling.

Teach deep breathing to enhance self-awareness.

Have a nice start of the week. Salam Alaikum. ❤️
