Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I hope you’re feeling well today.
Today’s reflection:
Beyond the Mess – Understanding Each Other’s Energy at Home
*Our faces and bodies speak a language of their own*—without words. Even when we don’t say anything, our energy, body language, and facial expressions reveal what we’re truly feeling.
*And here’s the truth: energy cannot be faked.*‼️
*People often close off*—not because they don’t care, but because they don’t know how to express what they’re going through. Or they assume no one will understand.
But I always say:
Speak up. Unspoken emotions help no one—not you, not your spouse. *Communication is key.*🔑
*When the House Feels Messy*…*can trigger real tension.*
One of the most common arguments between couples starts with:
“You were home all day… what did you even do?”
I say this not just from books or theory—I’ve noticed it deeply through my work, consultations, and even in my own life.
But let’s pause.
Is she really lazy?
Has the house always been like this?
Or has something shifted what you even didn’t noticed?
Think back. When you first moved in together, life was different—maybe simpler. But now, with children, work, and increased responsibilities, everything multiplies—including the emotional and physical load.
We often forget that caring for a home is not just cooking and cleaning. It’s emotional and mental care as well—nurturing, decision-making, responding to endless needs.
And when a woman’s energy is depleted, it’s natural that some things are left undone. She’s not being careless—she might be burnt out.
‼️ Fact: Hormonal and emotional shifts are real in women.Energy fluctuates. And if that exhaustion builds without rest or support, it can lead to apathy, withdrawal, or even depression
*For the Brothers:*❗️
You are the LEADER of your home. And leadership doesn’t mean control—*it means gentle guidance, compassion, and presence*.
If the house is messy, don’t jump to blame.
Ask:
✅→ “How are you feeling?”
✅→ “Do you need help with something ?”
✅→ “Is there anything you need from me right now?”
Even a small gesture—like inviting her to dinner—can bring light to her day.
*For the Sisters:*❗️
Don’t place every role on your husband. He may be capable of working, cooking, and parenting in one go—*but men’s brains and energy systems process things differently.* Men go out and fight the world every day just to bring food to the table and security to their families—it’s a silent battle many don’t see but should deeply respect.
They may not always multitask emotionally the way women do. So don’t expect!
But it doesn’t make them less—it just means you both need to balance expectations with reality.
Support each other in your strengths.
If YOU ARE BOTH STRUGGLING daily…
*It’s not failure—it’s a sign:*‼️
*Time to pause. Time to reassess.*‼️
Ask each other:
✅→ “What do you really need right now?”
✅→ “How can I support you better?”
✅→ “Do we need a new routine—or help like a nanny or cleaner ect.?”
This isn’t weakness—it’s wisdom.
*You’re not meant to do everything alone. You’re a team.*❤️
And remember‼️
Relationships Don’t Run on Auto-Pilot
A peaceful, loving home doesn’t just happen.
*It’s built—daily*—with honesty, shared effort, and emotional presence.
YOU BOTH work full-time, you both deserve rest.
Make decisions together about your routine, needs, finances, and emotional well-being.
And here’s something simple—but powerful:
Just make some tea today, sit down together, and speak and truly hear each other from the heart, without fear, blame and expectations. ❤️
Start from: I’m feeling…
That small moment open a door to healing your relationship and to deeper connection.
Be kind. Be honest. Be flexible. Be a team.
HAVE A BLESSED FRIDAY ☀️
