We for You | Daily Reflection | *by Maryam* ❤️

Salam Alaikum, dear sisters, 🌸
I hope you are all feeling well today.

Warm welcome new sister to our group. ❤️

*Do you know which signals of the body reveal weak personal boundaries or even their absence?*✋

*The body never lies.*‼️
Not only does it never lie, it constantly tries to show us where emotional or psychological “repair” is needed.

One of the most common topics connected to self-worth is PERSONAL BOUNDARIES.
I have already shared many messages about this, but because we are all struggling in one way or another, this reminder is still needed.

Personal boundaries are directly related to YOUR:

✅self-worth and self-respect,
✅the ability to say no without guilt,
✅emotional safety,
✅responsibility for your own feelings and choices,
✅healthy relationships,
✅and clarity about where you end and another person begins.

When a person’s personal boundaries are continuously violated, the body often sends signals through different systems. These signals may appear as recurring or chronic conditions, especially when emotional stress is prolonged:

🌸 The skin (and everything related to it):

eczema, psoriasis, acne, hives, rashes, itching, chronic skin inflammation, unexplained allergic reactions, dermatitis, rosacea, excessive sweating, fungal infections, slow wound healing.
(The skin reflects protection, contact, closeness, and invasion of personal space.)

🌸*The urinary system*:

recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs), cystitis, bladder irritation, frequent or painful urination, kidney inflammation, lower back pain with no clear cause, fluid retention, bedwetting in children.
(Often connected to territory, safety, and personal space.)

🌸*The intestines*:

irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), bloating, constipation, diarrhea, colitis, Crohn’s flare-ups, gas, intestinal cramps, food sensitivities, malabsorption issues.
(Linked to difficulty “digesting” situations, emotions, or other people’s behavior.)

🌸 The stomach:

gastritis, acid reflux (GERD), ulcers, nausea, stomach pain, heaviness after eating, loss or excess of appetite, nervous stomach, vomiting under stress.
(Often associated with anxiety, suppressed anger, fear, and emotional overload.)

🌸 The upper respiratory tract:
recurring sore throats, tonsillitis, sinus infections, nasal congestion, frequent colds, laryngitis, hoarseness, loss of voice, chronic cough with no clear cause.
(Connected to unspoken truth, swallowed words, and fear of expressing needs or saying “No.”)

These symptoms are messages.‼️
This is why psychosomatic specialists are so powerful , because when you understand these connections, you can work with the root cause, not only the symptoms.

I personally had a client whose stomach pain disappeared during a session and didn’t return back Alhamdulillah.
When the cause is addressed, the body no longer needs to speak through pain.
*The body speaks when the soul has been silent for too long.*‼️
As long as you abandon yourself and allow your boundaries to be crossed, the body will keep speaking through illness and symptoms.

The absence of personal boundaries often comes from childhood trauma, observed behavior patterns of authority figures, a tendency to fall into a victim role, and, most importantly, from not understanding the question:
“What are my personal boundaries?”

In Islam, personal boundaries are not a modern concept.
Islam clearly recognises that every human being has limits, rights, dignity, and personal space.
Islam teaches:
✅Your body has rights over you
✅Your soul has rights over you
✅Your time has rights over you
✅Your emotions have limits

The Prophet pbuh taught that harm should neither be inflicted nor accepted.. This applies not only to physical harm, but also to emotional, psychological, and mental harm..*So saying “No” in Islam is allowed when something harms you, drains you, or violates your dignity.* You are not required to please people at the cost of your well-being.
Islam also emphasises niyyah (intention), ‘adl (justice), wasatiyyah (balance).
If you allow your boundaries to be crossed repeatedly, and this leads to illness, exhaustion, resentment, or loss of self
this is not righteousness.
*This is self-neglect.*‼️
And remember boundaries in Islam are not walls.
They are lines of responsibility, clarity, and self-respect.

And when boundaries are respected, peace (sakinah) becomes possible
in the heart, in relationships, and in life.

So who is responsible for personal boundaries? YOU!

So I want to share one simple practice with you all. It is very short and very clear.

*Practice: The Clear “NO”*⛔️

The moment you feel that someone is pressuring you, imposing, manipulating, or pushing you in any way, calmly and confidently say:

“NO. I don’t want this.”
“NO. This doesn’t work for me.”
“NO. This is not for me.”

*That’s it.*‼️

You do not owe anyone explanations. You do not need to feel guilty for disappointing or upsetting someone.

And if guilt does come, pause for a moment and ask yourself:

❓Is this guilt coming from love or from fear?
❓Am I feeling guilty because I did something wrong, or because I stopped betraying myself?
❓Is this my emotion or one I learned to carry to keep others comfortable?

Guilt often appears when you start setting boundaries for the first time.
Not because you are hurting others but because you are no longer abandoning yourself.

Let the guilt pass without obeying it. Feel it. Breathe through it. Do not let it decide for you.

With time, as your boundaries strengthen, guilt will slowly lose its power.
And in its place, something quieter and deeper will grow: *self-respect.*✨

And yes, people may say:
“You don’t love me,”
“You don’t care,”
“You’re stubborn,”
“You’re bad,”
“You’re selfish,”
“You’re stupid.”

Remember: this is their anger and their emotions not your responsibility.

Enough of enslaving yourself to other people’s expectations and desires.

This year, I am inviting all of you to choose self-care.
And the most important thing you need to strengthen is your boundaries. ❤️

Wishing every sister the courage to honor her boundaries and choose peace over suffering.🤲🏻
