Salam Alaikum sisters,🌸

I hope you all are feeling well today.

I just wanted to make a short announcement that during Ramadan, I will be texting less in this group to give you all space for spiritual growth, reflection, and fasting.

Anyone who wants to share or text something most welcome.

But generally I encourage you all to reduce screen time this month, especially minimizing phone usage.
*Let’s take on a challenge together*—using our phones only for essentials, short calls, or necessary messages. While phones are helpful, we tend to overuse them, distracting ourselves from being fully present.

Instead, focus on your emotions, triggers, and breathing. Take time to observe your reactions, notice patterns, and connect more mindfully with your body and surroundings.

A simple way to do this is through the 5-4-3-2-1 mindfulness exercise:

✅*5 – Notice Five Things You Can See* – Observe colors, objects, or movements around you.

✅*4 – Notice Four Things You Can Touch* – Feel the texture of your clothes, a surface, or the air on your skin.

✅*3 – Notice Three Things You Can Hear* – Pay attention to background sounds, nature, or even your own breath.

✅*2 – Notice Two Things You Can Smell*– Take a deep breath and recognize scents in your environment.

✅*1 – Notice One Thing You Can Taste*– Be aware of any lingering flavors or simply the natural state of your mouth.

*This simple practice helps bring awareness to the present moment, reduces stress, and strengthens mindfulness*—allowing us to be more conscious and spiritually connected during Ramadan.

Let’s use this blessed time to slow down, observe, and be fully present with ourselves and our surroundings. Let’s connect with ourselves and our families more.

Much love & blessings, ❤️😘🤗Ramadan Mubarak! 🌙✨
