Salam Alaikum sisters🌸.
I hope you are doing well.
I’m sending a message today about our behaviour and “kids mistakes”…
Could you please not only read it, but think and contemplate on yourself. ❤️🌸 If you have questions don’t leave it, just ask.
❓Did you see that adults allowing themselves to do mistakes more often, than children? And no one scolding or punishing them.
🔴If you spilling tea/ coffee accidentally, do you hear from behind: “Can you behave at least one time in your life?! We will be late because of you!”
🔴And if you keep forgetting where did you put your keys/ phone, someone moralising each time: “Stop behave like that!”, or even taking that item and saying: “You’ll never get it unless you behave”.
🔴When you are stressed and misbehaved because of the stress immediately being scolded what a bad mother/father, wife/ husband you are. How no one will want to be your friend. Or immediately punishing you by locking in your room or refusing to give you food, or not speaking with you.
🔴If someone slapped you or abused verbally you are forced to say sorry immediately, and forced to hug that person even you are upset and angry.
🔴Or if you learning new language and someone laughing at you. Copying your pronunciation, and purposely with laugh telling to others that you can’t pronounce correct. Then everyone making fun of you, even people whom you trust and love the most.
❓Do you see how we forgiving and forgetting for adults but strict to children who just started their life journey, who learning how to live, whose brains developing and their possibilities are very limited?
🔸Not everything should be a lesson🔸
And punishments not teaching or giving life skills. ☹️
Those are lessons about your relation with a child not about situations.
Children need skills and empathy like we all🤗🫂❤️
Help them to grow in relation with you and teach them skills.❤️ InshaAllah
May Allah SWT bless our children and make us all parents to become wiser, have good relationships with them and become role models in children’s life . Ameen
