We for You | Daily Reflection | *by Maryam* ❤️

Salam Alaikum dear Sisters,🌸
I hope you are all well today.

Warm welcome new sister who recently joined our group.❤️

It’s Thursday, and today we reflect on how perfectly Allah SWT designed our body. The more we understand ourselves, the more we appreciate His wisdom in our creation.

Today about wrinkles and formation of Anger lines.

Nowadays, everyone talks about wrinkles. Everyone wants to look young.
Raise your hand - who doesn’t want to look good?
From a small child to an adult, we all naturally want to feel beautiful, fresh, and confident. It is part of our fitrah to care about our appearance. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look good.
But sometimes, in our desire to stay youthful, we focus only on the surface and forget to ask what our face might be trying to tell us.
If you are having visible line/s between your eyebrows it’s not random. It is not simply age, genetics, or “bad skin.”
It is the imprint of a state you have been carrying for a long time.

Behind that line there is often:
• constant worry
• silent pressure to hold everything together
• unspoken anger
• control and perfectionism
• living in “coping mode” without true rest

Many women don’t even realise their face stays tense day and night. But the body remembers what the heart keeps quiet.

Emotion becomes a wrinkle over time when you:
• concentrate intensely
• suppress your words
• carry responsibility alone
• stay strong for everyone else

You repeatedly activate the same muscles that pull the eyebrows inward.

At first, it’s temporary.
Then it becomes a habit.
Eventually, it becomes fixed.

In psychology, this is linked to chronic stress and nervous system dysregulation. When we live too long in fight-or-flight mode, our muscles hold tension. Over time, that tension shapes the face.

That’s why anger lines can be:
• deep
• visible even at rest
• present even during sleep

The face continues to “hold” what we never released.

The Prophet pbuh said:

“The strong person is not the one who can overpower others, but the strong person is the one who controls himself when he is angry.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 6114, Sahih Muslim 2609)

Anger itself is not haram, it is human. But holding onto anger, suppressing it without processing it, or allowing it to remain stored in the body harms us.

Allah SWT created the body and soul as one connected system. When the heart is heavy, the body reflects it.
Slow breathing, salah, sujood, dhikr, and conscious surrender shift us from tension into safety. These are not only spiritual acts , they also regulate the nervous system.
True softness comes from internal surrender, not external perfection.
Many women today look for solutions in beauty procedures.
Botox relaxes the muscle.
But it does not calm the nervous system.
It does not release suppressed emotion. It does not teach the body how to rest.
When the effect fades, the pattern often returns, because the inner state was never addressed.

This shows us something important:
The anger line is not just a skin issue. *It is a stored state.*❗️

Dear sisters, no matter your age or how many wrinkles you have - your face does not need to be fixed. You are beautiful who you are.

*It’s just needs to feel safe.*❣️

Softness is not weakness.
It is regulation, surrender, trust in Allah SWT. It is feminine strength.
It is allowing yourself to finally exhale after years of holding everything together.
Your anger line is not a flaw.
It is information.

And yes, it can change.
When you work with the root, not just the surface.

But real change requires a holistic approach:

1. Release muscle tension
– relaxation exercises
– facial massage
– trigger point work

2. Regulate the nervous system
– breathwork and prayer
– intentional relaxation
– stepping out of constant “high-performance” mode

3. Work with your inner world
– process emotions
– allow safe expression
– build healthy boundaries

4. Night support
Many women sleep with tension in their brow. Gentle facial taping before sleep can help prevent the muscles from pulling inward while retraining them.

*Remember: tools work best when there is a system behind them.*❣️

Wishing you all peace in your heart and mind and a beautiful glow from within.🤲🏻
