Just for you, dear sisters in this group, I’m sharing one exercise from the course I’m preparing.
EXERCISE 2 - RETURNING TO YOURSELF
How to do the exercise
Imagine that you are looking into a mirror and you see your own reflection.
Step into that reflection -see yourself in the mirror as the future you, the version of you who has fully realised her potential, your best and most fulfilled self.
Try to visualise this version in as much detail as possible.
Now gently observe yourself looking into that mirror and ask:
Am I functioning in a way that leads me toward this future version of myself?
Why haven’t I reached it yet?
Many of you, instead of walking toward your future self, cling like an octopus to other people, circumstances, success, rules, destiny, approval, or the fear of doing things wrong.
These “octopus arms” represent your ego -the part of you that tries to hold onto something outside yourself.
But this clinging makes you weak and dependent.
Where is it really leading you?
Now imagine unhooking your octopus arms - detaching them from people, expectations, the environment - and attaching them to your future self.
Connect yourself to the version of you from the future.
Align with her energy.
How do you feel?
WHEN SHOULD YOU DO THIS EXERCISE?
Do it when you know what you want, but you doubt yourself,
hesitate, procrastinate,
or wait for “perfect” conditions.
By doing this exercise, you begin forming a new habit -
the habit of allowing yourself to be yourself, and the habit of taking action regardless of what others may think or how your environment might react.
