“My little child continuously drawing on the walls at home. How to stop him? ”.
Child doing it because of the thoughts and creativity. Remember, children till 7-8 years old not having logical thinking. Small kids not having impulse control till 4-5 years old at all. And even that age they can’t proper to control impulses each time.
Btw it’s a great sign that your child having creativity, fine motor skills, and symbolic thinking are taking shape.
So instead of stopping/ punishing him/ her from drawing on the walls create an environment at home where child can draw on the walls, offer alternatives ( washable materials, washable crayons ect.), take out often, allow to draw on the pavement. This stage is temporary and it goes away itself.
I saw how my friend overcame her child stage when he was drawing on the walls. She just simply put self adhesive papers on the wall and removed carpet from the room where child was drawing.
So she didn’t stop him from drawing and soon this activity went away. Now he is 5 years old and building from Lego different things.
Everything is temporary. Wishing everyone patience and good relation with kids.
