Just wanted to say few words about “Be a good girl” or “be a good boy”.
It’s common phrases what we heard in our childhood. Some of us using it for our kids now.
I know it’s not easy, but it’s time to let go conditioning kids and only show love when they are meeting our expectations and criteria. Why we can’t show love to “bad” children ( btw “ bad”children NEED more love and attention than anyone else).
If we exclude Islamic or other religions teachings for a while we will see that most of us learned that we need to please parents to be truly loved and accepted by them— and we subconsciously applying that “belief” to every human interaction now.
