We for You | Daily Reflection | *by Maryam* ❤️

Assalamu Alaikum dear Sisters 🌸 I hope you are all feeling well, InshaAllah.

Many times I hear women asking themselves: “What should I do in life?” -especially in their 30s and 40s. And often, it is no longer only about career or success, but about self-realisation, purpose, peace, and truly knowing ourselves.

Islam teaches us that self-awareness is important. When we understand who we are, our strengths, our limits, our priorities, and what brings peace to our hearts, we are able to live with more balance and sincerity. Psychology also speaks deeply about this -that a person flourishes when they live in alignment with their values, personality, and inner purpose.

Sometimes we become so busy fulfilling expectations that we forget to ask ourselves:

🤍 Who am I truly?
🤍 What gives me energy instead of draining me?
🤍 What are my strengths and weaknesses?
🤍 What kind of environment helps me grow?
🤍 What do I genuinely enjoy and feel inspired by?
🤍 Am I living according to my values and faith?
🤍 What kind of woman do I want to become for Allah SWT?

There are also tools like personality and strengths tests that can help us better understand ourselves and discover which environments, activities, and goals truly suit us.

Tests such as 16Personalities (MBTI), CliftonStrengths by Gallup, Enneagram, or VIA Character Strengths are often used for self-reflection, career direction, and personal growth.

Some of these assessments are supported by psychology and positive psychology research — especially CliftonStrengths, which is widely used in workplaces, coaching, and leadership development.

At the same time, these tests should never define us completely. They are simply tools to help us reflect more deeply on who we are, what energises us, where we naturally grow best, and how Allah SWT created us uniquely ❤️

Not every woman’s path will look the same. One sister may find fulfillment in motherhood, another in teaching, business, helping people, studying Islam, creativity, healthcare, or community work. All honest and beneficial work has value in the sight of Allah SWT when done with sincerity.

Dear sisters, the goal is not to chase status, but to find a life that brings barakah, peace, growth, and closeness to Allah SWT. A life where your soul feels nourished, not constantly exhausted.

You deserve to wake up with purpose. To feel that what you do matters. To grow continuously -spiritually and personally.

So I sincerely pray that every sister finds her path, her confidence, her inner peace, and her place in this dunya while always keeping her akhirah as the ultimate destination 🤲🏻

May Allah SWT guide us to what is best for us, grant us clarity, beneficial work, peaceful hearts, and barakah in our journeys. Ameen🌸❤️🤲🏻
