Salam Alaikum dear Brothers and Sisters. I hope you are feeling well today.
May Allah SWT bless your Friday and fill your homes with sakinah (tranquility).🤲🏻

A warm welcome to all new members. If anything feels unclear, please message me privately. Whether you are single, married, struggling, or doing well - we are all learning together. Even if only one spouse gains knowledge, it still benefits the marriage, InshaAllah.

Today we continue exploring how women and men experience intimacy and desire differently, and how these differences reflect Allah’s wisdom from a holistic perspective.

If you recently joined, message me and I will send you the previous posts for context.

💚 A Short Introduction Before Today’s Topic

Now that we understand what desire is and how it appears differently for men and women, there is something important to acknowledge:

Men and women are not meant to be the same, nor do we stay the same throughout life.
*We are unique, and we are constantly changing, our intimacy as well.*‼️

Relationships work in the same way.
A man and a woman naturally function as opposites:
plus and minus, winter and summer, sun and moon…
And even beyond gender, we differ in personality, character, past experiences, emotional wiring, and needs.

This polarity is not a problem -it is what creates balance, attraction, and complementarity.

When this balance is respected, couples support each other emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
But when polarity becomes unclear -through stress, misunderstanding, emotional disconnection, or shifts feminine and masculine energy -the relationship weakens, and conflict begins. Not only in intimacy, but in communication, expectations, and daily life.

I will text later about energy psychology, couples psychology, a woman’s inner world, and also polygyny from a holistic perspective. But for now, regarding desire differences, I want to emphasise one very important point:

❗️ *Do not rush into extreme decisions, even if you feel on the edge.*❗

Avoid:
❌escalating arguments
❌considering separation just because “our desires don’t match”
❌blaming each other
❌using guilt, emotional pressure, or making your spouse feel responsible for your feelings
❌assuming a second, third, or fourth marriage will solve the issue.

💚 The First Step for Both Spouses Is Always Self-Reflection:
1. Know yourself more
2. Then know your spouse more
3. Look at the situation clearly, not emotionally
4. Ask yourself:

❓ What do I need right now emotionally, mentally, and physically?
❓ What makes me feel safe, respected, and connected?
❓ What blocks my closeness and what helps it grow?
❓ Am I speaking openly or defensively?
❓ Am I listening to my spouse’s needs as much as my own?

These questions help both husbands and wives understand themselves first, and this leads to better communication, more mercy, and real improvement in the relationship.

This, dear Brothers and Sisters, is your task for today. And I encourage you to do it together.

With this foundation, we now move into today’s topic:
