We for You | Daily Reflection | by Maryam ❤️

Salam Alaikum dear brothers and sisters, I hope you are all feeling better and stronger each day, InshaAllah.

Warm welcome new members who recently joined our group.

Previously, I wrote about AI and tools like ChatGPT. Today, I would like to continue that reflection from both a psychological and Islamic perspective.

In today’s world, we are surrounded by powerful technologies. Tools like AI and ChatGPT can be helpful for quick answers, writing documents, generating ideas, and learning new things. They can sometimes assist in moments of urgency.

But we must always remember: these systems are built on algorithms. They do not have a soul, a heart, or divine wisdom. ⚠️
Screenshot I shared above is from OpenAI’s Terms of Use, specifically the section explaining limitations of Output.

From an Islamic perspective, Allah (SWT) created human beings in the best form. He gave us intellect (‘aql), a heart (qalb), and natural disposition (fitrah). These are sacred gifts. They are part of your internal guidance system, but unlike artificial intelligence, they are divinely designed.

When we feel stressed, confused, anxious, or uncertain, the first response should be pause within.

Psychologically speaking:
When we slow down and breathe deeply, our nervous system begins to regulate. In a calm state, thinking becomes clearer. Our body often signals discomfort or ease before our mind fully processes it -tension when something feels wrong, relief when something feels right. This awareness is part of how Allah (SWT) created us.

If you do not know the solution:

• Pause and make sincere dua
• Ask yourself reflective questions ( those I’ll attach separately)
• Sit in stillness and observe what you feel
• Then consult a trusted human being ❣️

Islam teaches shura (consultation) and companionship. The Prophet pbuh encouraged seeking advice and remaining connected to community.

Human empathy, warmth, and sincere presence cannot be replaced by any machine. ⚠️

And do not forget the power of the Qur’an.
The Qur’an is not just a book to read -it is shifa (healing) for the hearts. Even when your logical thinking feels blocked, when emotions are overwhelming, or when you cannot think clearly - just play the Qur’an. Let it fill your space. Let it soften your heart. Let it calm your system.
Even for someone struggling with their faith, the sound, rhythm, and recitation of the Qur’an can bring a sense of peace. Allah’s words reach beyond logic.

We have seen stories where technology influenced harmful outcomes, and other stories where it appeared helpful in emergencies.

But remember:
AI does not carry responsibility, compassion, or accountability.
It processes data -it does not understand your soul. ⚠️

Only Allah is Al-‘Aleem (The All-Knowing).
Only Allah is Al-Hakeem (The Most Wise).

No technology can replace the human being Allah (SWT) created. Each one of you is irreplaceable.
There is no one else in this world exactly like you.
Your struggles and worries, your strengths, your duas, your tears -they matter.

Use technology as a tool, not as a guide for your heart. ⚠️
Protect your mind and faith, and your well-being.

If you are feeling lost or overwhelmed, please seek real human support.
Sometimes spouses genuinely struggle to listen to each other effectively. InshaAllah, this group will learn active listening and communication skills -not only through messages, but also through group events and sessions we are planning to organise.

If you need real human connection, feel overwhelmed, or want a safe space to talk - we are here for you 🤍
Please do not stay alone. You do not have to carry stress or overthinking by yourself.

As mentioned previously in another group, we are offering FREE 30-minute 1:1 sessions, with appointments available from this week.
Brothers are also welcome to book to speak with a male consultant.

Please book your session here:

If you cannot find a suitable time due to time zone or personal circumstances, please message me privately and we will arrange an alternative.

If you are struggling with serious mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, or thoughts of harming yourself, please seek professional medical or psychological support alongside spiritual guidance.

If you feel unsafe at any time, urgent help in the UK🇬🇧:

🚨 999 -Emergency services
📞 111 - NHS urgent medical help
💛 116 123 - Samaritans (24/7 support)

🌍 112 – International emergency number (many countries)

Islam encourages us to seek treatment and take practical means while placing our trust in Allah SWT.

And remember:

*Technology may be intelligent, but it is not conscious.*⚠️

*It may respond, but it does not care .*⚠️

*It may generate words, but it does not make dua for you.*⚠️

May Allah SWT guide us to balance, knowledge with wisdom, tools with faith, and intelligence with compassion.🤲🏻
