We for You | Daily Reflection | *by Maryam* ❤️

Salam Alaikum dear sisters,🌸
I hope you are all doing well and taking care of yourselves and each other.

Recently I have been busy finalising my academic tasks. My final project was about loneliness in the UK. Did you know that the highest level of loneliness is among people aged 16–24 in the UK? Because this problem has become so serious, the UK even created a Minister for Loneliness.

Loneliness is affecting many people in Western countries. So I encourage everyone today to check on your neighbours and keep regular contact, no matter what religion or race they are. A small act of kindness can mean a lot.
In many countries, including Muslim communities, people can sometimes feel abandoned or isolated. Yesterday I spoke with a sister who is currently in need of all type of support. Situations like this remind me how important it is to keep in touch with one another. I always encourage people to look within themselves and discover their skills, talents, and inspirations, and to connect with others around them.
Sometimes people go through difficult times, but charity is not only money. A smile, a kind word, Salam or invitation to join the community can also be a charity. Instead of creating dependency, it is often better to help people find support, skills, and opportunities so they can stand on their own feet.

If you are searching for a purpose, I invite you to volunteer with our organisation, WeForYou.
If you enjoy speaking, you can also apply to become a guest speaker.

Women have so many talents MashaAllah Tabarakallah. Maybe you enjoy crafting, teaching, blogging, creating, or sharing knowledge. Your skills could inspire and support other women in our community.

*Let us support one another, build connections around the world, and bring hope where it is needed.*❤️
