We for You | Daily Reflection | by Maryam ❤️

Salam Alaikum dear Sisters, how are you feeling today? 🌸

Some of you asked for simple techniques you can actually use in daily life. So today, I want to share one small practice to help you shift from guilt to responsibility.

Guilt is often experienced as a heavy, uncomfortable emotion. It can keep us stuck and disconnected from our power.

Instead of saying:

“I’m guilty” or “someone is to blame,”
try gently shifting your words to:

“I take responsibility” or “they are responsible.”

Pause and notice how that feels.

Guilt weighs us down. It often places us in the role of a victim in our own story.
But responsibility brings clarity, strength, and the ability to move forward.

We cannot always control what happens to us…
But we can choose how we respond. And in that choice, there is freedom.

Let me share a simple example:

Imagine you’re in a relationship, and something hurts you-*maybe you feel unheard or disrespected*.

The habitual reaction might be:
“He hurt me. He is guilty.”

This can create pain, anger, and a sense of powerlessness.

Now try this shift:

“This happened. He is responsible for his actions, and I am responsible for how I respond and what I allow.”

Feel the difference?

You are no longer powerless.
You don’t excuse his behavior, but you also don’t carry emotional weight that isn’t yours.

The same applies in family and healing.

Instead of:

“My parents are guilty for how I turned out,”

say:

“My parents were responsible for my upbringing… and now I am responsible for my life and my healing ❤️‍🩹 .”

Or instead of:

“I am guilty for not being perfect,”

say:

“I take responsibility for how I show up, and I can choose to grow.”

This is where your power begins.

💭 Guilt says: “Something is wrong with me or you.”

✨ Responsibility says: “Something happened and now I choose what to do next.”

When you shift from guilt to responsibility:

✅You stop blaming
✅You stop feeling like a victim
✅You start making conscious choices
✅You feel lighter and stronger inside

*This doesn’t mean ignoring your feelings or avoiding processing guilt.*⚠️
It means moving through those emotions without staying stuck in them.

Be gentle with yourself, but also strong. Release guilt, and step into responsibility with love.

*Responsibility is a sign of emotional maturity.*❣️

You deserve peace, not pressure. 🤍

USE it today in one small situation… and notice what changes inside you.

Wishing everyone love and peace.❤️
