Salam Alaikum sisters🌸 How are you feeling today?
Today about cry or not to cry in front of children. Or everything about CRYING 😢😭
Tears arise from strong emotions. Empathy, compassion, physical pain, attachment pain, and moral and sentimental emotions can trigger these tears. They communicate your emotions to others. Emotional tears make you feel more vulnerable and it’s a sign for others to understand how you are feeling.
Laughing and crying are both tools for releasing emotion. They have an emotional as well as a physical effect on the human being. Just as laughing, decreases stress, increases immunity and makes a person feel good, crying also has benefits. It de-stresses the body, releases toxins, kills bacteria, soothes emotions, improves the mood and has a generally calming effect.
Allowing yourself to feel is not an emotional reaction without any consciousness, opposite, allowing yourself to feel means accepting what you feel is important. Part of me feels anger (and pain, sadness is most likely under it) and it is important to me, I see myself, I feel myself.
By allowing ourselves to feel, naming emotions and feelings + doing self -regulation- we showing how we accept our feelings to the children.
If you want to cry near children, it's okay, you can cry. It’s important to understand that it’s about you and that it won’t be released on children. You can’t blame children and manipulate with your tears even they triggered your emotions.
“ I’m very sad now. Tears help me relax. I’m sad and it’s ok to feel sadness ”.
Allowing yourself to feel is not manipulation, not accusation, not yelling, not sarcasm.
Allowing yourself to feel is a real meeting with YOURSELF.
So that we can feel the feelings, and not just react we have to ask ourselves:
WHAT I’M FEELING AND WHY?
We have to grow ourselves again. To understand and feel what we are feeling. What do we know? What we think ?
Bring awareness to our whole life.
