Salam Alaikum dear brothers and sisters,
I hope you’re all doing well and feeling grounded in your journey.
TODAY I WANT TO RAISE AWARENESS and offer a REMINDER that in today’s world, where we carry so much emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—*it should be normal to have a coach, counselor, or even just a wise, non-judgmental person to turn to.*
Even once a week, just to vent, process, and release what we’re holding inside.
Not because something is “wrong,” but because our hearts deserve care and space.
I’m genuinely happy to see that *more and more men are starting to understand this*—and even encouraging other brothers to do the same.
This is growth. This is strength. This is love in action.
And of course—before and through all things, we must turn to Allah SWT.
Make du’a. 🤲🏻Seek His guidance. Ask Him to soften hearts, increase love, and bring clarity.
But also remember: du’a is powerful when it’s paired with action—especially when you are praying together as a couple.
No matter what stage your relationship is in, you must unite in prayer. That’s where hearts align and healing begins‼️
One thing I keep seeing again and again: wives trying to convince their husbands to attend couples counseling—and the men hesitating.
⚡️Sometimes it’s pride.
⚡️Sometimes it’s fear.
⚡️Sometimes it’s the belief that “we’re not that bad,” or “it’ll pass,” or “I don’t need anyone to fix my marriage.”
But here’s the truth:
❤️ It’s not a lack of sabr.
❤️ And it doesn’t mean you’re mentally unstable.
❤️ It means you care enough to try.
❤️ It means you want to understand your spouse better.
❤️ It means you want to protect the love before it fades.
We go to experts for everything:
— A mechanic when the car makes a strange sound
— A personal trainer to help get in shape
— A business coach to grow our career or side hustle
— A tutor for our kids when they’re struggling
— A doctor when something feels off physically
*So why not seek relationship support when something feels off emotionally?*❓
Having a counselor, coach, or a wise, trusted person doesn’t mean something is broken beyond repair.
*It means you’re mature enough to say: “We need guidance.”*❤️
*And that’s noble. That’s responsible. That’s Islamic.*‼️
Brothers—if your wife is screaming and asking for help, she’s not attacking you.
She’s reaching out for connection. She wants healing, not blame.
It’s not her job to convince you.
It’s your job to meet her halfway—with humility, intention, and heart.
And let’s not forget—there are also sisters who hesitate to seek help.
⚡️Sometimes because of shame.
⚡️Sometimes fear of being judged.
⚡️Sometimes because they’ve been taught to just “be patient and stay quiet.”
But suffering in silence is not a solution.
It’s okay to say “we need help.”
It’s okay to want clarity, peace, and support.
And remember: wives don’t scream, cry, or shut down for no reason.
Those reactions often come from deep emotional pain—built up from feeling unheard, dismissed, or unsupported.
And the same goes for husbands.
When a man withdraws, goes silent, or reacts in frustration, it doesn’t always mean he doesn’t care.
Sometimes, he simply doesn’t know how to express what’s going on inside.
Many brothers were never taught how to process or communicate emotions in a healthy way.
💔*So don’t rush to blame each other—pause to understand.*
Compassion opens more doors than criticism ever will.
💔*Don’t let your ego stand in the way of peace.*
💔*Don’t wait until silence grows louder than love.*
*Reach out for help*‼️
May Allah SWT guide us, soften our hearts, and help us build marriages full of mercy, understanding, and growth.
Ameen🤲🏻❤️
