Salam Alaikum dear brothers and sisters.
I hope you are feeling well today and that you had a peaceful and joyful Eid.

Today, I want to share a very important *R.E.M.I.N.D.E.R.*-the importance of noticing yourself, of being truly aware of your thoughts, words, and actions.

While we often talk about these things from the perspective of the spouse, pointing to him or her, the most crucial part is the internal growth within each of us.
If your life feels like a routine of work, sleep, eat, repeat, and you find yourself disconnected, just living somehow while ignoring what’s going on inside, then something is missing. Self-awareness isn’t always easy, but once you begin to practice it, everything starts to shift.

Many people behave in ways that feel comfortable to them, without considering that there is someone else living beside them.
Remember: you are responsible for your own actions, reactions, feelings and thoughts.

If a person doesn’t understand what personal responsibility means, they will never truly understand someone else’s perspective. So always pause and ask yourself:

Is who I am right now-how I’m behaving, thinking, and speaking-good for the person living beside me?

This is a message about awareness, about growing into a better spouse by first being honest with yourself.

*May Allah (SWT) guide us all toward self-awareness, patience, and compassion in our relationships.*❤️🤲🏻
