Salam Alaikum, dear sisters,🌸
I hope you are all feeling well today.

Today is Thursday and message about our bodies.

What we eat becomes a part of who we are. Our eating habits begin in childhood, shaped by warm memories of our mother’s cooking -nourishing, simple, full of love and intention. No packaged or processed food can ever replace that.

As Muslim women, our first priority in food should be that it is halal and tayyib. Purity isn’t just about a label. It’s about food that is clean, real, and created by Allah SWT without man-made interference -free from artificial additives, colorings, preservatives, or harmful chemicals.
I believe that through even global events, boycotts, wars and other muslim struggles Allah SWT is gently guiding us back to what is natural, wholesome, and divinely aligned.
And indeed, Allah’s SWT plan is the greatest.

Let us return to simplicity: home-cooked meals, clean ingredients, heartfelt preparation. Say Bismillah while cooking. Cook with awareness and niyyah (intention). That food becomes your healing and your healing becomes your food.

Each body is unique. I’ve studied many diets and I believe deeply that health plans must be individual. No single trend or program fits all. Listen to your body. Tune into your digestion. Track your sensitivities. Observe your rhythms. This is the real key to a healthy body and clear mind.

🕊️ Sunnah-Inspired Habits to Support Your Health:

🌿 Bitters before meals – stimulate digestion and support bile flow:
Try:
• Ginger
• Grapefruit
• Dandelion root

With meals, enjoy bitter greens:
• Radicchio
• Rocket leaves
• Radishes
• Chicory
• Endives

🌡️ Warm water before meals also helps gently open bile flow and support cleansing. And don’t forget mindful eating I mentioned before. Taste every bite. This is not just eating, it’s ibadah (worship). Say Alhamdulillah with every blessing you consume.

🍏 Mindful snacking – combine fruits with healthy fat or protein to stabilise blood sugar:
• Apple with almond butter
• Blueberries with coconut yogurt
• Pears with tahini
• Dates with walnuts

🛢️ Sisters, get processed oils out of the kitchens.
I did my own research on all oils.
Processed oils like sunflower, soybean, and canola are linked to inflammation and hormonal imbalance. They’re highly refined and harmful over time.

🧈 Healthier alternatives include:
• Ghee butter
• Animal fats (like tallow)
• Coconut oil
• Avocado oil

These traditional fats are nourishing, stable for cooking, and support the body, especially our hormones and digestion.

🌾 Gluten & Grain Awareness –Gluten is not always the biggest enemy. A deeper problem is glyphosate (Roundup), a toxic chemical sprayed on wheat and grains. It damages gut bacteria, weakens the intestinal lining, and compromises the immune system.
Even more concerning are genetically modified (GMO) grains. These grains have been altered in a lab and our bodies do not recognise them, and we lack the enzymes to digest them. Over time, this leads to inflammation, gut imbalance, food sensitivities, and chronic illness.

If you do eat bread, choose organic sourdough spelt bread, ideally homemade. Enjoy it occasionally and mindfully, not as a daily habit.

🌀 Low FODMAP Protocol –
For sisters struggling with bloating, IBS, or gut discomfort, this is a temporary 6-week plan that avoids fermentable carbohydrates that feed bad bacteria.
*Remember*‼️: It’s not food that causes bloating , it’s a sign of gut bacteria imbalance. Reintroduce foods gently, after balance is restored. About plates content and food map in details next Thursday InshAllah.

📔 Food Reaction Journal –
If you experience fatigue, bloating, headaches, mood swings, having aneamia, thyroid, hormones problems or skin flare-ups, start tracking what you eat. This is your body’s language. Learn to listen to it and write it down. ✍️

Sisters, this is not about perfection.
If each of us changes even just one habit, we are already on the right path. Small, sincere steps lead to lasting transformation, InshaAllah.
Wishing everyone good health and the strength to make wise choices. 🤲🏻❤️
