We for You | Daily Reflection | *by Maryam* ❤️

Salam Alaikum dear sisters, 🌸
hope you are feeling well today.

Today is Thursday, and once again we’re reflecting on our bodies - the amanah Allah SWT entrusted to us. Today it’s about something that is often a weakness for many women: *perfume and the hidden toxins behind all those scents.*🌹

🌸The first alcohol-based perfume was created by a Muslim woman Zubayda bint Ja‘far, wife of Caliph Harun al-Rashid. Muslim scholars like Al-Kindi and Ibn Sina (Avicenna) later perfected the art of distilling rose water, essential oils, and natural perfumes.
So perfume has always been part of our Islamic tradition 🌸, but today most synthetic scents- perfumes, sprays, deodorants, car, room, toilet fresheners, even scented candles hide harmful toxins.

📊 Research shows 3 out of 4 harmful substances in tested products were linked to fragrance ingredients. These everyday items contain:
❌ Hormone disruptors
❌ Fragrance allergens
❌ Carcinogens

Dear sisters, remember toxins enter you blood stream through your skin and more even quicker through your lungs.
Our detox systems are strong, but not endless machines. Constant exposure overwhelms them, causing fatigue, hormone issues, and illness. And for women, this is especially serious -because hormonal imbalances are among the most complex challenges to heal.

Even small daily exposures can silently disturb our cycles, moods, and overall health.‼️

Be picky, be a real Queen. There are safer choices:

✅ Phthalate-free
✅ No synthetic musks, parabens, formaldehyde
✅ Transparent ingredients
✅ Plant-based alcohol
✅ ECOCERT / IFRA certified

🌹 Even better: try natural alternatives like pure essential oils, organic sprays, or natural solid perfumes. These not only smell beautiful but also uplift mood without hidden harm.

Fragrance in its natural form is Sunnah, but guarding your health is also amanah. Be mindful of what you spray, apply, and breathe daily. Your body is not a limitless machine - give it care, and it will serve you with strength and vitality.
Wishing to you all dear sisters, to have less, but the purest. Less toxins, less clutter, less noise… and more purity, more health, more barakah. 🤲🏻🌸
