Salam Alaikum dear sisters,
I hope you all feeling better and better, InshaAllah 🌸

Today we reflect on something subtle, but deeply powerful, the way our beliefs about ourselves can shape our entire experience of the world.
🧠In a 1980 study, participants were given a realistic facial scar and told to observe how people treated them. But just before they went out, the scar was secretly removed, they were told it was a “final correction.”
Still believing the scar remained, the participants returned with emotional stories:
“People looked at me strangely… avoided me… pitied me…”
But the truth there was nothing on their face.
It wasn’t reality they experienced, it was their belief about themselves.

💭 Reflection Prompt:

What “scar”-emotional, social, or psychological -are you still carrying in your mind, even if it’s no longer visible… or maybe never existed at all?

🌸 Practice:

1. Stand in front of a mirror. Look gently into your own eyes. Ask yourself:
“What story have I believed about myself that no longer serves me?”
Acknowledge it. Then say:

“I choose to see myself clearly beyond the illusion.
I release what is no longer real.
I return to truth.”

🕊️ This task is not about denying your pain.
It’s about gently questioning its source.
The moment we realise we’ve been living through a lens that no longer fits…is the moment we begin to truly heal.

May Allah SWT guide us all to see ourselves as He sees us,
not through the lens of old wounds, but through the light of truth and wholeness.🤲🏻

Let there be Light in your heart.❤️
