Salam Alaikum dear sisters.🌸
I hope you all are doing well.

Welcome new sister to the group. ❤️
Today is Friday and should be a lighter message but I would like to share a reminder about SELF-WORTH.

Sometimes we women hearing the words: “you’re bad, a bad mother, a bad wife, a bad sister, daughter-in-law… just bad, bad. It’s truly touching and hurting our souls.

But here’s the truth: other people’s words don’t define you- your own voice does. And more importantly: Allah SWT is the One who defines your worth. He created you with honor and dignity:
“And We have certainly honored the children of Adam…”
(Qur’an 17:70)

So when people belittle you, remember - your Creator has already honored you.

🌸 Affirmations are not the only way to strengthen self-worth.
Don’t forget to:
• Detach emotionally : remind yourself “These are their words, not my truth.”
• Set boundaries: calmly say “I won’t accept being spoken to like this.”
• Use inner dialogue: ask yourself, *“Do I believe this, or is it just their pain speaking?”
• Choose not to react: refusing to take it personally is stronger than reacting - it shows you’ve risen above. If it’s hard not to react just step out and say lets speak later.
• Transform pain into growth: if there’s truth, learn from it; if not, release it -but never force yourself.
• Surround yourself with uplifting voices: let love, faith, Qur’an, and good company drown out negativity.

Our beloved Prophet pbuh reminded us:
“None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
This includes loving yourself in a healthy way - respecting the soul Allah SWT has entrusted you with.

There are also four simple rules you should embrace so that confidence and self-love can grow in your everyday life:

✅ Know yourself.
To rebuild self-worth, you first need to know who you are: discover what you enjoy, understand what you want from life, and recognise how your past experiences have shaped the person you are today. Pay attention to how you treat yourself, and learn to correct negative thoughts.

✅*Take care of yourself.*
Your body is an amanah (trust) from Allah. Healthy eating, exercise, proper sleep, and realistic expectations all affect your well-being. Beyond the basics, self-care means giving time to the things that bring you joy and strengthen your iman.

✅*Respect yourself.*
Respect is essential for healthy self-worth. Define and uphold your values, without sacrificing your dignity to please others. *Remember: pleasing Allah always comes before pleasing people.*‼️

✅*Love yourself.*
To truly show self-respect, you must believe in your worth and care about your future. Celebrate your strengths, accept compliments with gratitude, and thank Allah SWT for the blessings He placed in you.

People may try to crush you, especially the closest ones, and tell you that you are not enough. But the truth is: you are more than enough, because Allah SWT created you, honored you, and made you beautiful inside and out. 🌹
And no one’s words, whether they come from strangers or the closest ones, will affect you, because you know who you are in the sight of Allah SWT.
Have a blessed Friday and may your all duas come true.🤲🏻☀️
