Salam Alaikum dear sisters,🌸
I hope you’re all doing well and feeling peaceful today.

Welcome our new sister to the group. ❤️

I wanted to share a reflection and a R.E.M.I.N.D.E.R from my recent travel.
Yesterday, while I was on a ferry, an announcement came over the speaker:
“Is there any nurse or doctor on board who can assist a passenger in need?”

It reminded me of something we were told during medical studies—that even if you help someone and succeed, you might still be held accountable. That’s the rule in systems. And yes, legal aspects exist—but beyond all of that, I believe something deeper:

If you can help someone—help.
Even if it’s just calling for help, holding someone’s hand, or staying by their side. Don’t turn away.

Yesterday, I helped that passenger and I signed the document. And I know I am accountable. But what matters more is :
Don’t be afraid to help.
Even if you’re not in the medical field, you can still make a difference.
Call for help. Stay close. Offer reassurance. Sometimes your presence alone can bring someone comfort.

Make it a point to learn basic first aid. Teach it to your children to save lives.
Start with simple videos and books for the little ones. Enroll older kids in first aid courses.
Invest your time and money in skills that matter. It’s a part of your and kids self-development.

One day, their hands might be the reason someone lives.

These are the tools that turn ordinary people into life-savers when it counts. Even if you’re unsure, even if you make mistakes—acting is better than doing nothing. Even if a rib breaks during CPR, that act might still save a life.

Helping others is not just a skill—it’s a mindset. A mercy. A duty.

Let’s remind ourselves: in a world that sometimes feels cold, be the warmth someone might be praying for.

Stay healthy and safe. ❤️

P.S. And by the way—*don’t forget the power of du’a in emergencies.*
In stress and panic, many forget—even trained medical staff not used to it.
Train the hands to act, and the heart to call upon Allah SWT.
