Salam Alaikum dear sisters,🌸
I hope you’re all feeling well today.
Welcome to the new sisters who’ve just joined our group, may you find connection, healing, and inspiration here, InshaAllah.❤️
Today, I’d like to bring up a powerful but sensitive topic one that many of us have experienced without even realising it.
Today about DRAMA QUEEN 🎭or VICTIM POSITION
💭 Have you ever been called a “drama queen” by your husband?
💭 Has he said you’re “always complaining” or “making drama”?
💭 Have you ever heard of something called the Drama Triangle?
🔺 The Karpman Drama Triangle is a psychological model of unhealthy emotional roles people fall into during conflict.
The three roles are:
1. The Victim – feels helpless, powerless, and often says: “Why is this happening to me?”
2. The Persecutor – blames, criticizes, and controls.
3. The Rescuer – tries to “fix” others, often at the cost of their own well-being.
Many women find themselves in victim roles not because they want to but because of trauma, emotional exhaustion, or cultural conditioning.
In these cases, the victim role becomes a survival response, not a conscious choice.
But here’s what’s important:‼️
Remaining in the victim mindset over time it turn into a habit, even after the danger has passed. ‼️
Once we become aware of our situation, and we still choose to stay silent, blame others, or avoid action we may be unconsciously keeping ourselves stuck.
🧠 Here’s the difference:
• A Victim of harm (e.g. abuse, betrayal, injustice) -not your fault.
• A Victim mindset (e.g. “Nothing ever works for me,” “Everyone is against me”) — can become an identity you don’t even realise you’re carrying.
💥 *This triangle disappears when the victim stands up.**‼️
When she says:
• “I’m not staying silent anymore.”
• “I can’t control others, but I can take responsibility for how I respond.”
• “I will speak kindly, set boundaries, and take care of myself.”
That’s when real change begins.
💗 Dear sisters, know this:
Being soft and feminine does not mean being silent or helpless.
True femininity carries wisdom, emotional maturity, and deep inner strength.
If you:
• Stay quiet when something hurts you
• Avoid expressing your needs clearly
• Keep blaming others but never act
You may slowly fall into the victim role and it will drain your energy, your identity, and your joy.
So , once you take a responsibility about yourself without blaming husband or other people and step out of the victim’s position, triangle disappear.
🌱 Step out of the triangle by:
✅Taking ownership of your emotions. Learn more about your emotions
✅Speaking clearly and kindly without shouting
✅Asking for what you need without blame
✅Choosing calm action instead of silent suffering
So you are not weak and you are not “too emotional.”
You are a woman with value, with a voice, and with the right to build healthy, peaceful relationships starting with yourself.
✨ You may not choose what happens to you.
But you can choose how you respond from it.
You can:
• Heal
• Speak up
• Ask for help
• Set boundaries
• Grow
*This is actions of leaving the victim mindset, even while you’re still walking through hardship.*‼️
So no, women don’t choose to be harmed.
But yes, *we all have the power to choose how long we stay in that emotional space.*‼️
And that’s where transformation begins.
May Allah SWT grant you strength, clarity, and healing.
Ameen.🤲🏻❤️
